The relationship between vines and myself goes back a long way. I was born near the medieval town of Saint Emilion, a legendary land of ancient tradition and great Grand Cru wines. My passion for the world of wine grew in an atmosphere of prestigious chateaux of remarkable architecture. Quite naturally, my studies took me deeper into this mysterious universe; with my business-school diploma and my specialized Master’s degree at the Bordeaux School of Agronomic Sciences, I was able to perfect my viticultural and winemaking culture by exploring the different skills involved and via experiences that were both exciting and enriching. Then, one day, my path brought me to Domaine Saint Amand. It was a case of love at first sight and the starting point of a formidable personal adventure at the heart of the wine trade.
