Wine Educator

I am dedicated to enhancing my expertise in the world of wine, particularly in the Bordeaux wine region, through my role as a wine educator. My journey began in 2001 while studying Food Engineering at UFRGS, sparked by my first wine purchase. This experience ignited a passion for wine, leading me to study extensively about different grapes and regions. My background includes a Master's in Wine Business from the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV - Paris), where I focused my thesis on teaching and consumer behaviour.

Over the las 20 years, I have lived in different countries and worked in marketing and management roles within the wine industry, achieving significant accolades such as winery of the year in 2012. Now, I bring my global insights and rich knowledge to wine enthusiasts through The Wine Expert Academy and as vice-president of the Brazilian Sommeliers Association. My courses are designed to clarify wine selection and deepen appreciation for Bordeaux wines, equipping students with both the knowledge and passion to explore this exquisite category.

I am part of the #BordeauxCrew because I believe deeply in the exceptional quality and profound significance of Bordeaux wines to the global wine community. As an accredited tutor with the Bordeaux Wine School, I have the privilege of deepening my understanding of these distinguished wines. This not only aids in my personal and professional development but also amplifies my ability to educate and inspire others about the rich heritage and nuanced flavours of Bordeaux wines.
