Dr. Narraidoo has a distinguished career in the food and beverage industry that encompasses contributing to hotel pre-openings in major markets, planning and developing training programs, as well as creating hotel operating policies and procedures. Over a span of 22 years he has worked primarily with The Leading Hotels of The World located in Mauritius, Australia and Miami Beach. Most recently working as an assistant professor at Johnson and Wales University’s in North Miami, Mr. Narraidoo taught courses in restaurant service operations management, menu planning, cost control, mixology and oenology. Prior to teaching in the United States, he was a lecturer as well as food and beverage director at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School in Australia. Prior to his work in Australia, Mr. Narraidoo contributed to the pre-opening of both The Setai in South Beach and the Acqualina Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Mr. Narraidoo has specialized knowledge in wine having significant training that includes the Society of Wine Educators, the Court of Master Sommeliers, the French Wine Society and the Wine Spirit & Education Trust.
