Adaptive Vineyard Management Strategies 

  • Diversifying varietal mix (permitted grapes)
  • Re-introducing old varieties — e.g. Petit Verdot and Carménère
  • Introducing new, resistant varieties: Arinaroa, Castets, Marselan, Touriga Nacional, Alvarinho and Liliorila 
  • Planting new varieties (up to 5%) and including them in blends (up to 10% of the final blend)
