I am Nicolas Médieu, the one and only ... "Sommelier sans cravate" ! For more than 20 years, I have had the chance and the happiness to entertain you, to train you and to advise you, on a fascinating world on which I thrive; that of wine! It is through my training, but also through my TV columns on the programs Aubaines et Trucs & Cie on V, and En supplémentaire on Radio-Canada, that I convey my advice with conviction. Having first studied teaching, history and geography (yes!) at Laval University, I then specialized in sommellerie through the Bordeaux Wine School and ITHQ. Although school benches have given me a lot, I have developed my expertise through numerous wine trips which have not allowed me to have unforgettable experiences in the vineyard! I am also passionate about radio! For 17 years now, you have been able to listen to my wine columns (what a surprise!) On Radio-Canada radio and on CKRL 89.1 station in Quebec. I have hosted a number of conferences, evenings and training sessions around wine and food pairing, notably at Bordeaux Fête le vin in Quebec City where I communicate my knowledge with rigor and passion to the Tanguay Wine School. I have trained over 6,000 people since the first edition in 2012! At each workshop or Master Class, I welcome 150 guests to help them discover that, despite its prestige, the world of wine is simple and friendly. This is the reason why my motto is to "décravater" the world of wines!
