I can’t imagine working in a more exciting, friendly business where the product is one of life’s greatest pleasures. I stumbled into the world of wine, despite having lived in a wine producing area of France both as a child and an adult, and have not regretted it for one moment. I became an accredited Bordeaux tutor in 2006 and am proud to be one of the longest serving tutors in the UK, possibly the world. From working for Hallgartens, then Churchill Vintners, I have now been a freelance wine presenter/educator for the last 18 years, and am Chairman of the Association of Wine Educators. I’m a member of the Circle of Wine Writers and on the council for the Midland Wine & Spirits Association. I run a wine festival in Birmingham called Love Wine which is franchised to a colleague in Guildford, too.
