I am a Bachelor degree holder in Chemistry from the University of Hong Kong. As a wine professional, I am a Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers, a Certified Specialist of Wine by the Society of Wine Educators in US. Being a Diploma holder of WSET, I am also a WSET Certified Educator. CIVB has appointed me as Certified Bordeaux Wine Educator. With the mission of “help people appreciate wine better” and my scientific background, I translate the abstract concepts in wine to more understandable terms from a scientific perspective. I am working on a book with a title “Decoding Wines.” I focus on wine education and have maintained a wine blog in Chinese language for more than ten years. I have been the speaker of more than 100 events in the format of master classes, seminars, trainings and wine dinners for various wine regions in the world including Bordeaux, Spain and Italy. The ability to tailor-made content to suit audience with different wine knowledge level makes me a popular choice of my long-term clients. Being active in China and Hong Kong, I deliver wine seminars in English, Mandarin (Putonghua) and Cantonese.
