A visit of Bordeaux in 2006 that turned into a lifetime stay! My connection to wine began with my arrival in Bordeaux and an invitation to a dinner among friends. I was immediately fascinated by the product and the culture that it represented, and once my university degree completed, I sought out my first professional experience with a wine merchant. I then entered the School of Oenology and completed a Certificate of Aptitude in Wine Tasting, and the fascinating program convinced me to pursue my career in the area. I have been self-employed in freelance work for the past ten years and have worked with many wineries, wine merchants and wine organizations. I have been lucky enough to share with my clientele, be they professionals or enthusiasts, the passion of men and women who every day create the wines that we have the pleasure of discovering in our glasses time after time. Chinese by birth and completely integrated into French culture, I put my skills to work to create a hands-on experience of Bordeaux wines for groups of Chinese people. In accompanying the groups and introducing them to wine-tasting skills, I offer not only an exploration of this region’s wines, but also an understanding of their importance in France and around the world.
