I have been leading workshops at the CIVB since 1992 in parallel with my work as technical director of the Saint-Emilion Wine Council in Saint-Emilion. My day-to-day job allows me to rub shoulders with and accompany (from the vine to the bottle) passionate winegrowers, attached to their land, their history, their environment, in love with their profession and their wine. It is therefore quite naturally that I modestly wanted to pass on this energy and this Bordeaux culture to people who come for a workshop at the wine school. My job makes me discover and appreciate all the wines in the world, but it is always a great pleasure to present the diversity of Bordeaux wines, unique wines, also subjects of incessant and fascinating discussion and debate. For 30 years, I have watched the consumer's taste evolve, his curiosity sharpened, his knowledge of the work of the vine, of wine and of the product enriched. The CIVB Wine School has adapted to its changes and remains the most beautiful showcase of Bordeaux wines for wine lovers.
